Why I Became a Therapist
My journey into therapy began with a fascination: how early relationships shape our inner world. Over time, I witnessed how individuals’ childhood experiences continue to echo into adulthood through anxiety, self-doubt, or difficulty connecting. I became a therapist because I want to help people rewrite their stories, with warmth, curiosity, and hope.
Relational & Attachment-Based
I work with you to understand your past and present relationships, and how they influence your life.
Process-Oriented
Therapy here is not just about “solving” problems. It’s a space to explore, to feel, and to grow.
Empathetic & Non-Judgmental
Everyone’s experience is valid. I lean into deep listening, reflection, and compassion.
Long-Term & Collaborative:
You set the pace; and we build the direction co-operatively.
What I Offer

I give psychotherapy services for individuals and couples, both through in-person sessions in Dehradun and online therapy via secure video.
Grounded in attachment theory, relational work, and long-term emotional safety. Therapy with me means emotional safety, curiosity, and transformation, and not quick fixes.

Frequently Asked Questions
My work is primarily process-oriented and long-term, though the length of therapy is always collaborative.
Some people come with a specific concern, while others stay to explore deeper emotional and relational patterns over time. There is no fixed timeline. Therapy unfolds at a pace that feels meaningful and sustainable for you.
I work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, low mood, relationship distress, attachment patterns, identity exploration, life transitions, and the emotional impact of past experiences.
If you’re unsure whether what you’re experiencing “counts” as a reason for therapy, it usually does.
Feeling comfortable and understood is central to therapy. It’s okay to take time to sense whether the therapeutic relationship feels right for you.
The first few sessions often help clarify this. Therapy is most effective when there is trust, emotional safety, and a sense of collaboration.
Yes. Confidentiality is a core ethical commitment in my work.
What you share in therapy remains private, with exceptions only where disclosure is legally or ethically required for safety. These boundaries are explained clearly at the start of therapy so you know exactly what to expect.
